My love for health and fitness started as a young, multi-sport athlete. I placed great value on how my body performed because I wanted to win every competition. While some would call me competitive, I did have my fair share of losses. And with that came many lessons learned. With the most important one being that your body is the most crucial investment of your life. So when I suffered a career ending injury during my junior year of high school, I immediately knew that sports performance was the career path I wanted to take. I studied Kinesiology at Michigan State University, where I received my bachelor’s and master’s degrees. I have been a certified fitness trainer for over 10 years and have worked with a diverse group of clientele from youth athletes to inactive elderly.
